슬론의 에세이 질문들을 살펴보면 매우 open되어 있다는 것을 발견할 수 있다. 모든 질문에 위의 카테고리에 해당하는 경험들을 서술할 수 있는 것이다. 예를 들어, 첫번째 에세이의 답변으로 나의 열정이 조직에 영향을 미쳤던 사례를 소개할 수도 있지만, 나의 cross-cultral leadership이 조직에 미친 영향을 서술할 수도 있는 것이다.
