신용위기에 대한 워렌버펫의 평가 "poetic justice"

The problems being experienced by the U.S. financial sector are in fact "poetic justice" for some of the financial institutions involved, Warren Buffett said on Wednesday.

"It's sort of a little poetic justice, in that the people that brewed this toxic Kool-Aid found themselves drinking a lot of it in the end," he said in reference to some of the large investment banks that were involved in designing and marketing complex investments that have soured in recent months and have generated billions in losses. 워렌버핏은 "복잡한 파생상품을 디자인하고 마케팅한 대형투자은행들을 쿨에이드에 독극물을 섞어 제조한 사람들이 종국에는 그것을 마시고 있는 사람들에게 비유하며 이를 poetic justice로 정의했다. 또 "지금 일어나고 있는 혼란은 시장에 건강한 수준의 경고를 주는 효과를 냈다"고 말했지만 현재 상황을 진정한 신용위기라고 부르고 싶지 않다고 지적했다.
